Benny Gold Hooks It Up For The DVD Release Party
If there is something that we love about San Francisco, it’s the mad love that people have for each other.
We recently met Benny for the first time when we shot his HypebeastTV Episode back in February. As much as we knew about Benny, we only knew of him and the dope graphic work he has done for the companies we love and buy goods from. When we showed up at his door, he immediately opened up his house, showed us Levi’s mad tricks, and his over-packed-stuffed-organized-office-make-shift-store-room. We had no idea, he was running the entire Benny Gold collection from his dining room and guest room. As we all know, in two and half months of meeting Benny, he opened up his first store in SF.
We cruised in a couple of days ago to pick up a new wallet and he offered to kick down some gear for the winners of our UPHILL BIKE RACE (May 7th) for our DVD RELEASE Party! The race will start at the bottom gates of Chinatown (7pm) and will end at Medicine Agency (Jackson and Mason) The first few up to the top will get some rad Benny Gold products and other giveways.
So, with that said. Bring your beach cruisers, your track bike, your carbon fiber Lance Armstrong road bike, your BMX bike, your Grandmothers’s bike, because we’re going to have a bike race.
After the bike race, we’ll be screening our documentary, “The Recess Ends” (8pm) and a killer party after the movie. We will also be selling our DVDs for $10. ( way less than a Michael Moore’s Film )
